Four key outcomes
- Creates a single point of entry for older adults and their families to connect to services and support systems that will increase ease of transition from one program to another as age progresses and care needs change.
- Offers a wide range of services to meet needs at every stage of aging-from the active retiree to the frail elderly.
- Builds a platform for expanded collaborative efforts as volunteer leadership and staff expertise from the four agencies strategically plan, advocate for and implement programs and services for future needs of the elderly.
- Helps to establish Muskegon County as an elder-friendly ‘community for a lifetime’. The multi-service center demonstrates a proactive response to the pending dramatic increase in demand for services as the Baby Boom generation ages.
